How do Remember The Milk gifts work?

A Remember The Milk gift is an activation code that anyone can use to enable a Pro account. Once you've purchased a gift for someone, you'll be given the special gift code to give to them (you can either email or print it out in a nifty gift card). All they need to do is enter their code at a special page and the Pro account is theirs!

Does the person I buy the gift for need to have a Remember The Milk account?

You can buy a gift account for anybody, even if they don't have a Remember The Milk account yet. If they don't have an account, they'll be prompted to create one when they activate the gift code.

What are the Pro account benefits?

Do I need to do anything special when I place my order?

Nope! Just place an order for one (or more!) Gift Pro accounts before the offer ends. Once the order completes, you'll automatically receive 3 months of Pro for yourself for each 1 year of Gift Pro purchased. For example:

  • 1 x 1 year Gift Pro account = 3 months of Pro for you
  • 2 x 1 year Gift Pro accounts = 6 months of Pro for you
  • 4 x 1 year Gift Pro accounts = 1 year of Pro for you
  • 1 x 2 year Gift Pro account = 6 months of Pro for you
  • 2 x 2 year Gift Pro accounts = 1 year of Pro for you
Once I buy a gift, how do I give it to someone?

Visit the Your Gifts page to see a list of gift codes that you've purchased. You'll see an option to "Send by email" or print a gift card.

Does this offer apply to regular (non-gift) Pro upgrades too?

Nope, sorry, it's just for orders placed for Gift Pro accounts.

When does this offer end?

You must purchase any Gift Pro accounts by December 31, 2024 (in your timezone).

If I buy a gift for my friend can you arrange for it to be delivered personally by elves?

All our elves are busy right now, sorry. :( You can send the gift code to your friend via email, or you can always print the gift card from the Your Gifts page. You'll need to arrange delivery yourself, though.
