Why doen't just use this extension?

The current Chrome extension is more of a bookmark to the website than it is a traditional extension. I'd like to see an RTM icon next to Chrome's address bar, with a badge count indicating how many tasks are due within a selected list.

I agree. The bookmarklet still works, but is ugly. A nicer built-in extension would be nice.

Further, the bookmarklet does not have a url field. An easier 'add this web page to a task' would be nice.

We need a much richer Chrome extension.

Is it time to take another look at producing a Chrome extension to enable adding a web page as a task, very much along the lines of the very useful GMail extension.
Many, many task managers have a Chrome extension to give this facility, RTM is falling behind the competition in this respect (although IMHO it is streets ahead of the competition is most other aspects).
