Desktop pop-up reminders

I've just been trying unsuccessfully to get the IM reminders setup with Yahoo, GTalk and Skype and wondered if there are any plans for a RTM desktop popup? This would be really cool.

working from multiple locations, mobile solutions much more valuable and get reminders there. Getting them on the desktop too wouldn't work for me.

Also, in a corporate work environment wouldn't be able to install any client software that might be required to make it work.
