Include priority and other properties in one line with the task name

philip.bartfield says:
Currently, I add the task and then go find it to change the priority. It would be great if there was a way to change priority when adding the task.

Thanks

Search this forum for "priority". The only other search result that comes up explains how to do it.

Not the OP, but that post (http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/gmail/4957/)
doesn't address the concern.

When adding a NEW task, you can't specify the priority in the text. eg you can't write:

Finish report, tag with work, priority 2.

The official RTM/gmail addon site (http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/gmail/) doesn't show any examples of setting the priority that way. I tried it and "priority 2" or "set priority 2" just shows up in the Task name.

If this isn't implemented, it would be a nice improvement, and, I think, a might bit easier to parse/implement than what's already been done.

A nice way to implement this would be through the use of punctuation.

Pick up some milk! > sets to priority3
Pick up some milk!! > sets to priority2
Pick up some milk!!! > sets to priority1

Would *love* to see that.

Yes, please. Also priority in the browser button widget thing would be good too.

Let me give two hooves up to this suggestion, it's elegant and clean:

Pick up some milk! > sets to priority3
Pick up some milk!! > sets to priority2
Pick up some milk!!! > sets to priority1

But P:1, P:2, etc., would also work well. Should be on the shortlist for RTM's developers.
