Also, I suggest a better contrast for light color tags (1st and 3rd rows), since they are inconspicuous overall.

I can't imagine this is very difficult, there are tons of open source color picker widgets. Come on! It's an easy win! :)

I don’t know a thing about coding for color options on tags but I would LOVE to see a lot more, and in more vibrant colors. So let’s make it happen! :)

As mentioned above, the lighter tag colours have very low contrast and are virtually unusable. Customizable tag colours, or at least a better selection of pre-defined colours would be helpful.

Big +1 from me on this. Having the ability to set custom colors using HEX or RBG would be extremely helpful, as my tag colors have been somewhat duplicative for a while. As eoe mentioned above, this seems like it would be reasonably "easy" to build?
