An accidental press of Escape will clear whatever you were typing into the "Add new task" bar. This frequently causes me to lose my todo. I didn't think there solution for this problem, until I started using Trello. If you are typing in a text box on a card in Trello and hit escape, the card is not saved but the text isn't deleted either. You can always click on box again and continue typing. It would be great if RTM's "Add new task" bar worked the same way.

I am in and out of Vim all day, so it's likely that I press escape more often than the normal user. However, I think the Trello way is a great method for making sure the user doesn't lose data that they haven't submitted to the server yet. I'm guessing you guys have seen this problem as well, but haven't seen a good solution to it... until now!
