How to highlight everyday task which has due date

Create a task with the due date of when you are going to start working on it, and the repeat interval of every day until the date the task is due to be completed.

For the task you mention, you'd want to set the repeat to every 1 day until final date. You'd also want to mark it complete each day to prevent many duplicates from adding up.
If you would rather one task set to be due on the final date, you could use sleeper tags to show it before its due date, but then it wouldn't be highlighted as if it were due today.

Set start time option maybe a good idea.
