igoogle feedback / problems

I've been using the RTM iGoogle gadget for a while now (after trying it in gmail and gCal). I have 5 gadgets on a page, each pointing to a different list or smart list. The setup works well for my workflow. The igoogle page is my "grand central" for keeping track of my work day

But it has some problems.

I have a timer gadget and google calendar gadget on the same page. The problem I run into is something is refreshing the page about every 30 minutes (though I haven't been able to prove this consistently) which wreaks havoc with my timer. Not sure if its RTM that is forcing the page refresh, the calendar, or something else. Is there anything in RTM that would cause this behavior?

The first time I load the iG page, all the RTM gadgets have a fixed size. Typically my lists are small, so there is wasted space and it pushes the other gadgets off the bottom of the screen. When in this "mode" the gadgets do not show the name of the list they are displaying. i.e. the header in each gadget says "Remember The Milk" instead of "Remember The Milk - Top Priority". Though when in this mode, the content of the gadgets is correct.

I have found the only way to fix this is to click "edit this tab" for that tab of iGoogle (where you can setup the layout, etc), and just click cancel. Then it loads correctly. The list name is displayed, and the gadget is dynamically sized for the content. Kinda annoying to have to do this all the time. Luckily this fix is preserved across the aforementioned refreshes.

Suggestion:
One nuance I have found is even thought a gadget is set to display a particular list, new tasks created in that gadget default to whatever the first list in the pulldown is, no matter what. It would be great if a gadget displaying a particular list would default new tasks to be added to that same list it is displaying.

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, restarting the browser, and trying again?

Regarding your suggestion about lists and adding tasks, I've added that to our list to investigate.

This problem seems to have been fixed. I didn't even realize I hadn't needed to do the workaround thing for the past few days.
