Why do I see the "sent" tasks option as a default?

Second question, sorta connected - how do I specify what type of task one is? I made a bunch and they show under personal, I'd like to move them to work, but since we can't drag them there...not sure how to do it.

Check your URL; you may be going specifically to the Sent list's URL rather than to your main tasks. If in doubt, simply navigate to http://www.rememberthemilk.com/.
You can move tasks to another list on the "More Actions" dropdown at the top. More details in our Help.

You may also find it useful to set which list you want to see as the default, by going to your Settings, Lists tab. Select the list you want as default and click on the More Actions dropdown to find the Set as Default option.
