Add task on new Palm Pre Plus

erniewillvonseder says:
I have been using the regular RTM pages on my new Pre and with the Pre's autozooming features it is actually pretty nice.

I tried the Iphone web app but I don't like it so much. It double draws every page on my Pre.

Anyway I was just trying to enter a new task and when I hit enter nothing happens. I did some Googling and there may be an issue on the Pre with javascript recognizing the enter key.

Does anyone know anything about this and, more importantly, have a work around?

Ernie

P.S. I would love to see a Pre app. The Pre is awesome.

You can use the mobile site to add tasks, or perhaps it'd be easier to add tasks by email.

The mobile site is more likely my choice for a workaround right now.

I was hoping for a workaround like hold down the orange key and type 1 3 to send a carriage return (I actually don't know if there is someway to send character codes but that might be a temp answer)

I just figured I would give a report of these behaviors. With the Pre on Verizon now there are going to be even more Pre users out there.

If RTM can figure out how to stop the double drawing thing on the mobile site I would pay for Pro and go that way.

If I can figure out how (or RTM if it is their code) to use the enter task feature on the regular site I would go that in direction in preference to the mobile site. I like the consistency of RTM being the same on my desktop as my Pre.

I would also like to add that I went into settings and tried turning off smart add and it made no difference.

Also under settings I went to lists and added a list fine from my Pre. The text input box there properly responses to the Pre's enter key.

You can set the "note to self" program ( I think it is 99 cents) to your add multiple tasks by email and then use that. It is the same as by email just a little quicker.
