Task disappeared

It may be possible that your tasks were either moved or marked completed; can you search for all of your tasks to find what's available?
The easiest way to do this is to click Show search options underneath the search box in the top right, then press the Search Tasks button. (Leaving everything blank will show all of your tasks.) Also, if the results are too many to wade through, if you remember some specifics about some tasks that are missing, it'd be worth narrowing it down too. Be sure to check the completed view!
Also, is it possible your tasks/lists were archived? That'd make them effectively invisible, and unsearchable, but you can check on Settings | Lists to see if it's still there.
