Is there a way that I can add a task in the adroid app that gets added not to my task list but a friend's list???
andrewski (Remember The Milk) says:
You can't send a task via the Android app, but you can add a task to a shared list which would show up to them also.
Unfortunately, you can only send tasks via the website. However, if you and the contact were to add tasks via email, you could send an email to theirusername+abc123@rmilk.com and it'd add only to their list.
Hope this helps!

Hmmm. Helps some.
Basically what I am trying to do is I have 4 business partners and we are all on the go all day. What we want to be able to do is have on our phones lists of tasks that we each have to do and if we think of a task for one of the other business partners we can add it right from our phone to their list of tasks. Any ideas other than email? Or other programs that work for iphone and android?

Unfortunately, the website is the only place to send tasks, so it's not available from the iPhone/Android apps or any other services. Email would probably be the best way to send tasks.
You could add them to a shared list and tag them with their name also. Then each of you could find your tasks through a search like list:Shared tag:frank; that would show only Frank's tasks, even though the shared list would still have the others.
