Newbie Question - New Task / Details Box
jonipclark says:
New to rtm. In the "Getting Started Guide" it says...
"To add a new task, click on Add Task, type in the name for your task, and then press enter.
Your new task will automatically be selected, so you can now edit its properties using the task details box on the right..."
But when I press enter after adding a new task, the new task is NOT selected. To enter anything in the task details box I have to find the task in the list to select it or click on the yellow bar that shows at the top right after I add the new task.
What am I missing?????

jonipclark,
Welcome to RTM! That's something that changed with our Smart Add features; the reason is because you can now add extra properties to the tasks themselves when adding. See that page for some more details. Our blog post about Smart Add has some more information about the changes and auto-selection. (Summary: you can turn it off if you prefer the old way, but we think you'll like it!)
It's on our list to update the Getting Started Guide to account for that; sorry for any confusion!
