Language for help, Gmail gadget, etc

jmguardia says:
I have RTM set up for English (US) language, but certain areas (when I click "Help", or the Gmail gadget) automatically change into the language of the location I'm in (Catalan, as I'm in Barcelona). On top left of the screen of RTM webpage I select English (US) in the list, and it does change. I close the window, and the gadget is still in Catalan. When I open RTM's web Help section, it's still in Catalan.

Any ideas?

It sounds like your browser may be set to prefer Catalan to English?

Actually no; I have WinXP in Spanish, and my browsers and all apps in English. It seems it geolocates me from my IP in Barcelona, the capital of the Spanish region where Catalan is spoken (besides Spanish). Makes me wonder what will happen if I ever log into RTM from China or an Arab country, would not understand a thing ;)

Can you try clearing your browser's cookies and cache and restarting it? If that doesn't help, can you let me know which browser and OS you're using?

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Logging In & Loading issue report via our support system?

Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.

Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem - I'm an English guy living in Japan. The computer is set up to prefer Japanese as it's a work computer, but my Google Calendar is set to English. The network security system they use tends to mess up a lot of cookie-based settings (i.e. they're often not remembered for long). A similar example is my google search, which reverts to Japanese periodically, and I have to go to options to switch back to English. But the rest of my Google websites (News, Calendar, etc) usually remember to stay in English.

And now, of course, the RTM Google Calendar side-bar is also reverting to Japanese, and I can't find any option in it to change the language (that would probably be ideal :) )
