Sorting tasks by created date and time.

No, that's not possible: you can sort tasks by due date, priority, or task name. If you use the added* search operators you'll be able to see the added date though.
Sorting has been a source of many, many suggestions over the years.
As I have mentioned previously:
Sorting, as it exists, was not originally part of RTM. It was added on 8/1/07, and those three sort options (priority, date, alphabetical) are better than nothing, but...
