Future High Priority Tasks

I'm new to RTM so I apologise in advance if this is a ridiculous question.
I'm using the iGoogle gadget and the iPhone app and on both of them it's not obvious when you have high priority tasks that happen to have due dates over a week in the future. The only way so far that I've found to even get sight of these tasks is to go to the full RTM website or into the Lists page on the iPhone app.
It seems that you're really steered towards this week's tasks which is sensible but I'd also like more notice of the fact that I've got a high priority task which may take me a while to complete due on the Monday of the following week.
Any suggestions? Many thanks, Nick

You already mentioned using the Lists tab; what I'd suggest is a Smart List that includes priority:1 to show those tasks. The basis of mine (which I end up using about 80% of the time from day to day) is (dueBefore:today OR due:today OR priority:1) which includes any tasks that are overdue, due today, or marked priority 1 (regardless of due date).
For a bit more flexibility, you can use sleeper tags so that high priority tasks "wake up" a certain period before their due date. I do that a lot with tasks that have to be done by week's end, e.g. (dueBefore:today OR due:today OR priority:1) AND NOT list:zzz.
Hope that helps!
