Keeping an item at the top of a list

I've just been reading an excellent RTM Blog post about RTM and GTD. It is mentioned in there that if you put two dots before a task name, e.g. ..Buy Milk - it will keep the item at the top of the list. This doesn't seem to work any more. Is there a way to keep items at the top of lists please?

Obviously I was hitting RTM a little hard in my enthusiasm to get organised this morning. It seems to have caught up with itself now and this is working fine.
