List defaults?
dbhayden says:
Can you have different default sets per list? Examples of how this would be great:
1) You have a "birthday/anniversary" list and you want every entry to automatically default to "every year"
2) You have a "do when you leave work" list and you want the due date to automatically default to today.
3) You have a "weekend" list and you want the due date to automatically default to Saturday.
4) You have a "someday" list which you want to default to no due date

You can do this with Smart Lists or, less permanently, with searches.
I have a few of these set up for errands I need to run to particular stores: adding a task to those Smart Lists automatically sets the due date, adds specific tags, and ensures that the tasks end up in the appropriate list.
Hope this helps!
