Hide tasks?

I have difficulty with task that I only need to do in the future. For instance, I have a task I need to do with my Boss, but he's not back before monday next week. So I don't want the task in my Task List.

Is the only option to set the Due Date to monday, and then live with the task showing every day untill then?
