Chrome 4.0.249.64 (35722) beta conflict with RTM Extension and Gmail/Google Apps Mail

I have discovered that the RTM Extension causes a problem with Chrome 4.0.249.64 (35722) beta when using Gmail/Google Apps Mail.
If you have the RTM Extension enabled in this version of Chrome and try and do a simple Search 'label:' in the search mail field it simply loops and does nothing. The browser page still responds to clicking anywhere else but the extension renders any Gmail Search functions useless, i.e., Go to label labs function for example. As soon as the RTM Extension is disabled Gmail search functions work fine.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
Was absolutely loving having RTM embedded in my Gmail/Google Apps Mail sessions...
