Tabs on task screen

dennisldawson says:
Is it possible to reorder the tabs on the task screen? I have added lists and now have two rows of tabs on the task screen. I want to move the more active tabs to the front row. Can I do this?

Dennis,

One way to do this is to add #s in front of lists that you want to appear in the top row. This will help them move to the front. Add or other characters (like ~ or *) to items you want to appear in the second row. For example my today list is labeled as 2Day to make it appear immediately after the RTM default lists (inbox, sent).

Hope this helps,

There's not a tool per se to allow you to do this, but you can use alphabetical methods to do it.

For instance, if I have List A, List B, and List C, and I want List C to show up first, I would rename that list to be _List C or aListC or something that pushes it where I wanted it.

Or if I wanted List A to appear last, use zList A or something along those lines.

You can't manually reorder your lists' tabs, but you can rename them; many users prepend their list names with something like "@List" or "!List" to force them to the top.

The way that I do this is simply by renaming them.
cl-xxxx for checklists
ps-xxxx for personal lists
wk-xxxx for work lists
_0_xxx, _1_xxx, _2_xxx prefixes to specifically order my smart lists.

Nothing more clever than that is available I'm afraid.
