complete a recurring task

This may be a silly question, but how can I complete a recurring task? I have a project that I have been working on every day for the past few months. I recently completed it, and I would like RTM to reflect that, but the only method that I can see is to delete the task.
Thanks!
Thanks!

When I am done with a recurring task I delete the "every day" (or which ever I'm using) and then complete the task. In that way I still have it around as completed if I want to check what tasks are done.
I don't know if there is another way. Would love a "Stop recurring on..." function.

You complete a repeating task the same way you complete a non-repeating task. The only difference is that the next instance of the task will be created when you complete the current one (unless it's already been completed because it's passed the due date, etc.).

Thanks for your responses.
Andrewski, I should have clarified that I was looking to have the repeating task stop repeating. The project is completed and therefore the task needs to stop repeating.
Thanks Johan and txtxyeha. That sounds like an acceptable workaround.
Thanks again!

dylan.eiler, aha, I see; sorry I misunderstood. In addition to the methods above, you can complete the last instance and delete the next, which will ask you if you want to stop repeating it too.
johan.nilsson, you can use until to specify an end date, e.g. every week until 2/2/2010.

Great! I didn't know about the "until" feature. That's perfect!
