Displaying Recurring Tasks Repeatedly
(closed account) says:
I'm creating smart lists for each day of the week. I have a few tasks that I do on Monday and Thursday which are set to recur each week on those days.
The problem is, those tasks won't appear on my Thursday list until I've completed Monday's one first. The repeat text says "every Monday, Thursday" so I don't think that's the problem.
Is there a smart list option I'm missing? The weekly planner printout seems to do it, but I can't recreate it.
Thanks

Jmspikers,
You could create individual tasks for your Monday/Thursday ones and set them to repeat every Monday and every Thursday. That would cause the task to appear regardless of the status of the other.
Hope this helps,
Leah

Repeating tasks won't show the next instance until after the due date passes (in your case, Thursday's would show on Tuesday) or after the current instance has been completed. The Weekly Planner (or iCalendar feeds) is the exception here.

It doesn't make sense to me that it doesn't.
If I'm looking at my tasks for tomorrow, or any other day for that matter, it doesn't help to have an incomplete list.
Any particular reason why it hasn't been included?
