Absolutely not, in fact, I have not been shut down by a GMail version update since I installed the extension. Yeah ! Hope I did not just jinx myself. The shut downs were my biggest complaint, and it appears gone. Stick with it, and check other settings.

With the RTM for Gmail add-on for Firefox the version of Gmail appeared to change once or twice a month. The changes made by Google necessitated that RTM rewrite the program to maintain the integration. During those times the adding of tasks by shortcut (star or label) would not work, and tasks created with an email association could not be entered. I like that particular function and would have to work around the issue unitl RTM updated the RTM for Gmail add-on for Firefox.

I'm currently having this problem as well where it just doesn't show up sometimes. It's only appeared 2x and I've tried restarting the browser several times with no luck.

I'm also having this problem. Sometime the extensions doesn't show and you have to Ctrl-refresh the page to get it to show.
