Tasks a day off on the Droid RTM widget/app
I've emailed in 100+ tasks, bought a pro subscription to get the widget to work again (after the trial), and tasks on the Droid are all one day off. The dates are correct on the web site.
What do I need to do to get this fixed? It's pretty frustrating to hit this kind of bug after paying for the upgrade.
And while I'm at it, the silence from RTM on Outlook sync is really dispiriting. "We're working on it" from 2005 just doesn't make it. I've spent the day out of Christmas working on a macro to do a one-time export.

Interesting and troubling additional info: due dates are a day early in Chrome (browser) on the Droid, too.
The Droid is currently in a time zone one hour earlier than my home, but even if that mattered, why a DAY off?
Task due dates are right in browsers, Widgets, desktop apps on my home and office machines (which are set up on my home time zone).

i have the same problem, if i postpone a task (either in the app or in a browser on my PC) and then re-sync the tasks just fall back a day).
i think the problem is that the android is using UTM/GMT as the localtime so the 'actual' due date is getting h0rked.
in fact, even if I postpone a task in the browser, then refresh the list, the due date hasn't changed.
it is a /REAL/pain

I'm also seeing something strange.
I have the RTM app now installed on my Motorola Droid, also the
RTM Gadget added to my Google Calender (Daily Gadget version).
I entered a task on the phone (RTM app) and it shows correctly as "Today, Dec 31".
On my PC the same task initally appered on my RTM Overview screen under my "Tomorrow" ... however approx 1 hr later , it's correctly under "Today".
Google Calender on my PC shows a slightly different issue ...
this task (and all others) appear as anticipated when the calender date is clicked (in this example Dec 31) .... However Instead of appearing under "Today" as anticipated, the task appers under "Tomorrow"! (The RTM Gadget lists tasks as "Overdue" , "Today" and "Tomorrow".) I could get used to it I guess, but it's rather confusing at first.
I checked my PC's clock & date and it is in sync with the Droid.
Any ideas ?

These kinds of issues are almost definitely timezone-related; please check not only the time but also the location of your timezone between your computer, the RTM website, and your Android device.

Andrewski - hope you see this, i have the exact same issue, i posted in the general help forum.
I am in Texas for 2 weeks at a time, then Utah for a week. I just started using RTM in Texas, the 1 day issue started happening in Utah... so if I understand correctly, there will be issues if my phone is in a place other than where RTM website is set as my timezone? If so, that is bad programming, people travel a lot.
Any work around for this?? Everything I input via the web is one day off. It is very annoying.
Thank you!

Unfortunately RTM doesn't currently support shifting timezones; when a due date is set in one timezone, the task will be due at the start of that day (i.e., midnight) in that timezone.
It's something that's on our list to look into supporting in the future.
You should be able to "fix" the tasks created in a different timezone by resetting the due date (you don't need to change it, just save it again).
Sorry for any inconvenience!
