Reapeat task won't display on given day

I got a bit of a problem. I've just created a task to repeat every Friday (field WHEN is set to "Repeat every Friday"). But I don't see it in my next Friday's task list. I mean, I can see it in general task list with all the other tasks, but not on Friday(s). Is this supposed to work like that or am I missing something?

Not sure what you mean by search/Smart List. I mean, I simply want to create a recurring task, nothing else. I created a task and put this in the "Repeat" (when I check the details of the task that filed is called When) field: "Every Friday". I save it, and well, I do NOT see it displayed every Friday.
But when I go to Lists > All Task, it is displayed there.
Am I doing smth wrong here? :)

I thought you meant "next Friday's task list" as a Smart List; I apologize for that.
What you may want to do is to set the current task to be due Friday and set the repeat to every 1 week.
