why upgrade

thehand says:
I go over tasks on the website on my computer and then whenever I go to my iPod Touch and launch RTM the task list is synced to my Touch.

But today it just gives me message to upgrade to Pro.

Is this really necessary.

In the description of the Remember The Milk application in the App Store it says: "Free with a Remember The Milk pro account". Sounds pretty clear to me :)
