RTM not authorizing on my Kubuntu Karmic installation

volkerbradley says:
Hi,
When I first install the RTM widget and then click on Configure, it takes a long time for the Plasma Desktop to open.
I then log in and am greeted with the following message:
"Remember The Milk API issue
Uh oh... something went wrong. Don't worry though; it's not your fault. The application you're using to interact with Remember The Milk made an error. It might be worthwhile contacting the author of the application and telling them you encountered this page".
What is this message saying? Contact the author of what application? KDE, Plasma desktop or the author of the RTM widget?
Thanks.

Yes, you'd want to contact the author of the KDE Plasma widget.

It is resolved.
Kubuntu notified me of a boat load of bug fix updates I needed to do so I ran them this morning.

After remembering this, I tried the RTM widget again and it worked.

Now the auth works and there is a button saying "click here after auth" at the bottom that wasn't there before.

How to trigger the bug updates? I'm not sure. That is a question for Kubuntu forums or read the wiki. it should pop up though pretty soon after installing.

Well... despite the advent of the new button, the authorization of the app on the RTM website doesn't work out.

shayonpal, you're most likely experiencing a different issue. (The API was disabled temporarily yesterday but is back today; you should try again.)
