AIM on IPHONE

Would it be possible to delete the reminder account (via the trash icon on the right in RTM's Settings) and then readd it? This should restart the reminder service.
Also, have you tried any other IM, SMS, or email reminders to confirm whether they're working at all for you? Or, if you're using the iPhone app, do push notification reminders work for you?
