Shortcut to get out of the search box?
traycerb says:
After doing a search, is there a way to shift focus back to the main screen? Otherwise the cursor stays in the text box. ESC should have been the button to do this, but no luck. No other shortcuts (at all) work, because the search box is intercepting the key presses.
If this isn't currently possible, could the RTM staff consider adding that behavior with ESC?

andrewski (Remember The Milk) says:
You should be able to press Tab twice—once to select the "Add a new task", once to switch out—to be able to use the keyboard shortcuts. Shift+Tab should also work.
The problem with ESC is that it's intercepted by most browsers (namely to stop loading a page).

so obvious. can't believe this didn't occur to me. Even better, it seems only a single Tab is necessary (at least for me) so that the shortcuts are active again.
