Quick Search Box for Android support

emily (Remember The Milk) says:
We've just released version 1.1.0 (see the blog post) with support for the Quick Search Box for Android.

To enable searching for Remember The Milk on your device, you'll need to go to Settings > Search > Searchable items > and check 'Remember The Milk'. Once enabled, you can search for a task name or use the advanced search criteria.

Quick Search Box for Android is available in Android 1.6 and later; there's more info on the Google Mobile blog about the Quick Search Box feature in general.

We hope you like this feature -- if you encounter any problems or have additional feedback, please let us know! :)

Kudos for being the first non-google app I have that makes use of this feature. It's awesome.

Sounds great -- except my list contains only the following items: Apps, Contacts, Browser, Music, Finance. Why doesn't Milk appear?

Would love an RSS feed to your blog so I would have found out about this sooner :-). This is a brilliant feature!

Is there a voice command to tell the QSB to search the RTM database rather than the web? For example, you can say, Call Jane Doe. It would be cool if you could say something like, "Task go shopping" or "List shopping" or "Tag shopping".

When I enter a search for a task in the QSB, and then tap on the More results item in the suggestions list that appears before the search has completed, the Remember the Milk item shows 0 items even though tapping on on the Remember the Milk item reveals the task. Perhaps this is a deficiency in the QSB.

Wait for the More results suggestion to complete to get a more expected result.

wohler, an RSS feed is available for our blog, either via the browser tools (e.g. the RSS icon in the Location Bar in Firefox) or via the link on the left side of the page itself.

Ah, now I see the link. I'd suggest putting the link at the top of the page so it isn't hidden below the fold.

Thanks for the pointer regarding the location bar icon in Firefox. Looks like I'll need to retrain my eyes to scan there first!

Thanks!! --Bill
