marking a repeating task as completed
thc says:
I have a repeating task that will come due tomorrow. I'm afraid to mark it completed because I fear that it will mark the entire event series as completed. Is that the case, or will I just be marking that one incarnation of the event completed?

It will just mark the current instance of the task complete.
Also, depending on which repeat type you have, your next task instance will be created when your due date comes around (for repeat "every..." types) or when you complete the current task (for repeat "after..." types).
Keep in mind that you have the undo feature available too, so you could try just to see and then undo if it does anything unexpected. :)
Hope this helps!

Nevermind. I marked the task as completed and the next one showed up as expected, so my fear that by marking one as completed marked the entire series as completed was not only ludicrous but unfounded. I'll just try it next time.
