Sync problems

You're noticing that the website is showing past data? Does this happen the other direction?

Sorry - I should have added that I am using Astrid on the phone.
To be honest I don't really edit much of my task list online - I always edit the list on my phone and then sync it with RTM so that I can print off the list when I am at work.
However, doing a little test shows that changes I make directly into RTM do seem to appear on Astrid on the phone (e.g. I mark a task complete on RTM and it disappears from my to-do list on Astrid). However, when I mark a task as complete in Astrid and hit "Synch" it still seems to appear in RTM as overdue.
I am using Internet Explorer 7.

Hello,
I just wanted to add that I'm having sync issues as well but mine are not geared towards the tasks. "Tags" and "Locations" will not sync Phone>Web but will sinc Web>Phone. I haven't tried syncing new "Lists" from Phone>Web yet so I'm unsure if this may also be a problem. I understand this is a fairly new app, so patience is a virtue that I have no problem retaining. Just thought you'de like to be aware of the issue.

I similar problems with Astrid. I'm pretty sure that's an Astrid issue and this discussion group is only about the official Android RTM client. So you should talk to the Astrid guys if you're having problems with their software.
Or just switch to the official client. It's awesome, really. Much better than Astrid, imho. :)
@jon.r.rose:
I just added a tag to a 'Today' task on the official RTM client, triggered a manual sync, refreshed the webapp and it immediately showed up there. (I don't have any locations set up, so I can't test that right now.)

You're probrably refering to an already existing tag. I'm talking about creating new tags and locations from the application itself. It just won't sync to the web.
Try it out, you'll see what I mean.

In looking at my previous post (2 posts ago) I see that I failed to mention that I am not having problems with syncing already existing "Tags" and "Locations" Phone>Web. That works just fine.
What I'm having issues with is syncing brand new "Tags" and "Locations" created from the official RTM client to the RTM website.

jon.r.rose, you're likely having a different problem than everyone else here, since you're using the official app. But I can't reproduce it. If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit an Android issue report via our support system?
Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.
Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.
Thanks!

It seems like it happens for some tags but not all..

@jon.r.rose:
I just created a new location on the phone (using the search feature), then triggered a manual refresh, refreshed the webapp and there it was.
This didn't immediately work when manually creating a new tag from the 'tags' view. However, as soon as I also added a task using the newly created tag, it showed up on the webapp (under Settings -> Tags), too.
I admit that this is a bit confusing UI-wise and probably should be changed (as you can't really "create" a tag explicitly, the website doesn't allow you to, either!), but I can't see a real bug yet.

aravindk100, could you also submit an Android issue report at the link I mentioned above? I'd be especially interested in the specific tags that aren't working.
