Tasks not sorted properly in the morning if gmail page was open the day before

I tend to leave Firefox open at all times, and have an open Gmail page with RTM. I put my computer to sleep every night.
If RTM doesn't register the time change through midnight, the tasks are not correctly sorted the next day, meaning that apart from a few recurring tasks, I see yesterday's tasks as today, and today's tasks as tomorrow.
This does not happen if I simply leave my computer open passed midnight.
Refresh doesn't solve the problem. To display the tasks correctly, I need to reload the Gmail page, which is a little annoying.
Is this normal behavior? Could it be fixed?
