iPhone/iPod update

I upgraded the RTM app on my iPod touch a while back, not realizing that it wouldn't work if I didn't have the latest firmware update. The updates don't offer enough to be worth the ten bucks, but now I can't use RTM on my iPod at all. Is there any way of getting the older version of the software? I really shouldn't have to pay more to make the iPod do things it did just fine before the update.

When iPhone/iPodTouch upgraded to 3.1 the upgrade caused a problem with editing notes. Emily and the RTM team are working on it. You can find more information in the iPhone forum on the topic Can't Edit Notes.
