Scheduled tasks ?

Hello all,
im new here and ive checked the FAQ without finding an answer.
I come from Things and still trying to get my head wrapped around RTM.
Is there any way in RTM to plan for a scheduled task ?? Ive only seen due dates for a task but i want to define a task to be executed on a precise future date.
I cant use the due date because then i dont see the task in my daily list.
