Tasks completed on iPhone still show on Web Version

tornow says:
When I complete a task on the iPhone app and log in to RTM on my desktop the tasks still are showing in my To Do list.
Does iphone and my account online sync up?

What do I need to do in order to not have to check the same task I completed on the go again online?

hit the little refresh button on your iphone when you're done to make sure it syncs before you close the program.
