Gadget can be used in Google Calendar Labs as well!
I noticed today in the blog post about Google Calendar labs here: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2009/07/google-calendar-labs.html
"Almost any iGoogle gadget can be added to Google Calendar using the following URL, assuming that you don't need to edit the preferences and that there's enough space to display it:
http://www.google.com/calendar/render?gadgeturl=GADGET_XML_FILE
"
I tried the RTM iGoogle gadget and it worked, but it didn't look that great, so then I tried the Gmail gadget and it worked perfectly! It would be great if it could be the entire height of my screen, but this is an amazing development.
So to add the RTM Gmail gadget to my Google Calendar, I browsed to the following URL: http://www.google.com/calendar/render?gadgeturl=http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/modules/gmail/rtm.xml
It remembers the gadgets you have added when you go back again, so you can just navigate to Google Calendar the normal way after you add the gadget.
Hope this helps others as well!

That's a great find! Thanks for the tip, and I agree, this should be a tip of the week.

I tried this with my gmail account that is a registered domain and it wouldn't work. Do you know if this can work with a gmail domain account?
andrewski (Remember The Milk) says:
Yes, simply navigate to a URL specifically for your domain, e.g. http://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/domain.com/render?gadgeturl=http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/modules/gmail/rtm.xml.
A bit tedious, but only you can do that for your own domain. Fortunately you only have to do it once. :)
