please include "every 30mins" or "after 1hr"...

Unfortunately, there's not currently the ability to repeat on a unit of time, only on a unit of days. However, you could create multiple tasks that have different due times throughout your day (and use multi-mode to edit them all) and have each repeat daily/weekly/etc. (if you have a repeat on them).
