rtm on Twitter doesn't follow me

Hi all,
i have a problem using rtm with twitter.
First I entered my username on
http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/twitter/
and then followed rtm on twitter.
However, rtm doesn't follow me, so I can't send it a direct message.
I've already tried to generate a new verification code and delete rtm from my follow list and follow it again, but it still doens't work.
Can anyone help me?

Unfortunately we've been having some recurring trouble with the auto-follow feature of Twitter accounts. We've examined the issue but it appears to be something on Twitter's end. Unfortunately we can't guarantee availability of this feature, since we have no control over the auto-follow feature. However, we generally find that the issues sort themselves out within a few days.

I am having the same problem for a week or more now. I am following rtm but rtm isn't following me , therefore i can not send that "code" through a direct message...

He follows 39,999 users but has "only" 36,833 followers.
