Google Gears Help

I dutifully installed Google Gears, restarted my browser (IE 8) and still when I click on "Offline" in RTM I get the popup message to install Google Gears.

Is there something else I need to do?

Also, can you disable Gears and clear your cache? (Instructions for IE 6 and 7, but IE 8's steps are the same.) That should resolve general Gears problems. Post back and let me know how it goes!
