RTM broken in OSX & FF 3.0.10 and Google Gears?

I cleared that cache several times, went to lunch and came back (in case RTM was having issues) and restarted FF but it would only load the RTM header, where the Gears 8x8 icon would spin endlessly...

I disabled Gears and RTM was back.

I'm going to try to re-enable and see what happens.

the problem was due to a very old Gears file conflict.

I found it by searching on 'gears' using EasyFind (very quick ;) and just checking dates of the files.. have a look!
