Offline RTM with Gears displays old tasks and lists

I have Gears working OK with Gmail and Google Docs. I use FF 3.0.8 on Visa SP1.
I enabled offline access to RTM from the top menu some time ago but I can't get offline access to stay current.
When I start RTM offline (via the start menu), FF opens to show RTM but tasks and lists are not my current tasks and lists. I don't want to make any changes while offline because I'm concerned that my current tasks may be deleted when I go back online.
Am I missing a setting which will cause RTM to automatically sync with the offline database much the same way that Gmail does?

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Google Gears issue report via our support system?
