icalendar Backup not working
I've tried saving iCalendar Service (All Lists):
Cut and pasting link from 'settings' info list into new browser tab and replacing URL with https:// so that it saves instead of opens. However it saves only a 'PART' file.
I'm using Firefox and XP
I've tried doing this from both my work computer and laptop with the same result.
Any clues greatly appreciated

Following up on Arvid's message, the browser should be recognising that it's an iCalendar file and suggesting the extension (Safari saves it as .ics correctly, and Firefox recognises that it's "text/calendar" format but for some reason doesn't know the right extension for that).
The .part extension with Firefox downloads usually indicates that it's a partial download, but that doesn't seem to be the case. We'll check this out; it might be necessary to tell Firefox how iCalendar format files should be handled.
To ensure that other programs recognise the file correctly, you can rename them with a .ics extension.
Hope this helps!
