I can't get repeating tasks to work

scarlight says:
I added a new task and named it "Pool". Then I tagged it. Finally, I set it to repeat "Every Monday and Thursday". Today is Thursday, but the task doesn't have a due date of today, and therefore it hadn't been included in the daily e-mail reminder I received.

What am I doing wrong?

I did some experimenting, and it seems to me that if you make the task due on the first available date, then it will appear in your schedule correctly thereafter. So, make it due next Thursday (1/1/9)! and it should appear every Monday and Thursday after that.
