Emailed tasks do not schedule as repeating
manucharov says:
I emailed myself a task (a birthday reminder, actually) but could not make it schedule as repeating yearly.
I tried the following syntax in email body:
due: 6.2.2006
repeat: yearly
and
due: 7.2.2006
repeat: yearly
...neither works. The tasks arrive ok, but scheduled as "repeating: never".
What could be the reason?

Can you please email us at [old address removed] with an example email just like you'd email it in? We can check this out. Thanks!
manucharov says:
OK, I'm going to send it now. I will not include any comments; you can tell my message by the From: address.
Also please note that the subject and the note text is in Russian (can THAT be the reason, I wonder?).

Hello? Any news?
Sorry for being persistent, but emailing myself birthday reminders was basically my main reason to join :)

Okay, this should now be fixed. Can you please try sending your email again?
It was a fun issue specific to international characters sent via Gmail :)

Thanks, it worked!

Oh yes, Gmail is known for weird behaviour with international characters. You should see what arrives into my friends' Russian-hosted mailboxes sometimes :)
