SMS reminders to iPhone in Japan

I'm with the carrier Softbank, and I don't know how to set up SMS reminders to my iPhone.

I've tried my username at Softbank along with both Vodafone/Softbank and Vodafone Chuugoku.

I've also tried my phonenumber@i.softbank.jp. None of these works though.

do SMS reminders work when you send an email to ? Do you then receive the sms on your iPhone?

If yes, go to the reminder settings, add Mobile and then select other. Punch in the email address as listed above and see whether that works for you.

Ok, so I tried sending a few variations of my phone number, username @i.softbank.jp from my email and none of them got through to SMS. I got my username@i.softbank.jp to send an email reminder.

Mobyko was able to send SMS to my iPhone, so I asked them what my SMS address is, and I'm hoping they will reply.
