Glad you're enjoying RTM! :)
Changes that you make to shared tasks will show up for everyone else sharing that task (excepting the task's location, which isn't shared at all at this time). If you delete the task, it will also delete for other people sharing it.
It's not possible to receive notifications of task changes currently, sorry. :(
