I had more or less the same kind of problem. If you use IE then it will most probably work again.
I just found out that if you clear the cache, the cookies and ALSO the passwords it will go back to normal.

I tried from another computer, same browser and it worked.
Maybe I will go for a cache cleaning ont the other though.
