How to clear inbox?

A task has to be in a list. Default list is Inbox. I suggest that you use smart lists in order to look at your tasks, and have a Check list with criteria like "isTagged:false OR due:never" in order to trap your incomplete tasks.
Or, you process your tasks and move them to a different list when they have all info you require.
